EMA official suggests ditching AstraZeneca jab
A top official in the European Medicines Agency said it might be worth abandoning AstraZeneca's coronavirus vaccine for all age groups where alternatives are available, in an interview published on June 13.
Marco Cavaleri, the EMA's head of vaccine strategy, also told Italy's La Stampa newspaper that the Johnson & Johnson jab should be preferentially used for the over 60s.

COVID vaccination campaign / 41,228 people immunized in last 24 hours; 17,358 - with first shot
In the last 24 hours there were 41,228 vaccine doses administered, among which 27,792 - Pfizer, 9,121 - Johnson&Johnson, 2,626 - Moderna and 1,689 - AstraZeneca, according to a press release sent by the National Committee of coordinating activities regarding vaccination (CNCAV) against COVID-19.

COVID vaccination campaign/45,873 persons immunised in past 24 hrs, of whom 19,097 get first jab
Bucharest, June 9 /Agerpres/ - As many as 45,873 doses of vaccine were inoculated in the past 24 hours, of which 32,372 from Pfizer, 9,380 from Johnson&Johnson, 2,571 from Moderna and 1,550 from AstraZeneca, according to an information of the National COVID Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV).

Eight people from COVID-19 died.
Today, 9.390 samples were tested.
There are 510 patients in hospital, 20 on respirators.
Just to reiterate that a total of 4.844.882 doses of coronavirus vaccine have been consumed in Serbia so far.

In the last 24 hours there were 49,467 vaccine doses administered, of which 36,312 from Pfizer, 8,728 from Johnson&Johnson, 2,891 from Moderna and 1,536 from AstraZeneca, according to an informative bulletin from the National COVID Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV).
COVID-19 daily bulletin: 214 newly infected, six died
Currently, 511 patients are in hospitals for treatment of this disease, while 24 people are on respirators. 10.788 people were tested in the last 24 hours.
Earlier today, the head of the Children's Clinic of the KBC, Dragisa Misovic in Belgrade, Olivera Ostojic, stated that there have been no patients in that hospital for a week now.
