A Large-scale Migrant Trafficking Network has been Revealed

A large-scale operation is under way on the territory of Bulgaria, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, to neutralize an organized criminal group operating on the territory of the five countries and illegally transfer foreign nationals from the countries of Afghanistan and Pakistan to European Union countries, reported Bulgarian Prosecutor's Office .

Balkan States' Passports Rank as Average in Global Survey

Balkan countries that are members of the EU fared significantly better than their non-EU neighbours in the latest Passport Index, which ranks countries based on how many other states can be accessed with their respective passports.

On the list, ranked from one to 94, Croatia took 14th place, as 144 countries can be visited using a Croatian passport without a visa.

Dozens Dead in Suicide Bombing at Kabul Mosque

Suicide bomber killed at least 30 people in a Shiite mosque in Kabul, capital of Afghanistan this evening, a security official said on Monday, reports BBC.

This is another terrorist attack on the Shiite minority in the country.

The attacker invaded the "Imam Zaman" mosque in the western district of Dash-e-Barshi in Kabul, where Shiite worshipers had gathered for prayer.

Prime Minister Borisov: Bulgaria will Provide EUR 500 000 to the Trust Fund for Africa

Prime Minister Boyko Borisov announced that he will offer Bulgaria to participate in the African Trust Fund with half a million euros.

He noted that the fund, which aims to limit the causes of migration to the EU, needs a total of an additional EUR 125 million. 

Afghan boy, 11, to carry Greek flag at parade after lot selection

Amir, an 11-year-old refugee boy from Afghanistan, will carry the Greek flag during the annual school parade to commemorate the October 28, 1940 anniversary of Greece's refusal to ally with the Axis powers in World War II, known as "Ochi Day." Amir, a fifth-year primary school pupil, lives with his family in Athens. They arrived on the island of Lesvos a year and a half ago.
