According to the index published by the Berlin-based watchdog on Wednesday, Albania and Kosovo are ranked joint 110th out of 174 countries around the world that were assessed in the report.

LJUBLJANA, BANJA LUKA, SOFIA -- The Slovenian company Plinovodi, a partner of Russia's Gazprom, will continue the construction of South Stream in Slovenia, Beta reported.
This comes despite Russian President Vladimir Putin and Gazprom announcing that the project was abandoned.

Balkan Suspects Held in Austrian Anti-Terror Raids
The suspects were detained on Friday in a police operation codenamed Palmira which was aimed at alleged terrorists and recruiters of fighters in foreign conflicts such as Syria.
Around 900 police and other officials were involved in the operation which was described by the Austrian authorities as the biggest "in the history of Austrian state security".
