Saudi supreme court upholds jail, lashes for blogger, wife says
Saudi Arabia's supreme court has upheld a sentence of 10 years in jail and 1,000 lashes against blogger Raif Badawi on charges of insulting Islam, his wife said on June 7.
The judgment came despite worldwide outrage over his case and criticism from the United Nations, United States, the European Union, Canada and others.

Japan to Provide USD 1,5 B in Funding to Ukraine
Japanese Prime Minister Shinz? Abe has stated that the country will provide Ukraine with USD 1,5 B in order to ensure its financial stability, as reported by 112 Ukraine TV.
The statement was made upon the Japanese Prime Minister met with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kiev Saturday.

Bulgaria Scores Win Against Cuba in Volleyball Wold Cup
Bulgaria's national volleyball team defeated Cuba by 3:1 ( 25:19, 25:21, 24:26, 25:23) in a game from Group C of the Volleyball World Cup's Second Division, Sportal reported.
This was the second consecutive major success for the team led by coach and former exceptional player Plamen Konstantinov. The Bulgarians currently were defeated only once by the team of Canada.

Live anthrax samples were shipped to three laboratories in Canada by a U.S. military lab, USA Today reported on June 1, following disclosures last week that samples of the bacteria were mistakenly sent to 11 U.S. states and two other countries.
Bulgaria Beats Canada in Volleyball World League
Bulgaria defeated Canada 3:2 in a Pool C match of the FIVB World League 2015 played Sunday.
Canada was initially on the lead (0:2), but a twist helped the Bulgarian team in the games that followed.
With its result after the match played at Arena Botevgrad in Bulgaria, Canada is still topping the list in Pool C with 10 points from 4 matches.
