Australia bans TikTok on government devices

Australia said yesterday it will ban TikTok on government devices, joining a growing list of Western nations cracking down on the Chinese-owned app due to national security fears.

Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus said the decision followed advice from the country's intelligence agencies and would begin "as soon as practicable."

Universities offering full scholarship to 18-year-old

A high school student who made it to the "100 Rise Global" list of brightest students in the world last year has received full scholarships from nine universities, including Harvard and Stanford.

Born and raised in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır, 18-year-old Gül Karen Aça is a senior at Bahçeşehir College. Her mother is a music teacher, and her father is a math teacher.

Dendias, Cavusoglu meet briefly at NATO meeting

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu met briefly on the sidelines of a NATO meeting of foreign ministers in Brussels on Tuesday.

In a post on his official Twitter account, Dendias said he also spoke with the foreign ministers of Albania, Canada, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway and Spain. 

Djokovic reclaims ATP rankings top spot

BELGRADE - Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic is back in the number one spot of the ATP rankings.

He took over from Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, who has failed to defend his title at the Miami Masters.

Djokovic was forced to miss the tournament.

The Serbian tops the rankings with 7,160 points and Alcaraz is in second place with 6,780 points.
