Cyprus's Anastasiades briefed on missing 11-year-old boys
Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades said on Tuesday he has given "strict instructions" to the country's authorities to locate and rescue two 11-year-old boys who went missing earlier this morning outside their school in Larnaca.
Cyprus on high alert over two missing boys
Police in Larnaca, Cyprus, went on high alert Tuesday morning following reports that two school boys went missing at Kamares state primary school.
According to Greece's state news agency ANA-MPA, the boys' parents are from Greece and they are friends.

Tsipras to meet Erdogan in New York

Greece at risk of missing EU waste management targets
Greece is among the 14 EU member-states that are at risk of missing the 2020 target of 50 percent recycling of municipal waste, the European Commission said in a report on the implementation of EU legislation published on Monday.
Besides Greece, the other countries are Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Spain.

The two leaders are expected to discuss Cyprus, energy issues in the eastern Mediterranean and the eight Turkish servicemen who sought asylum in Greece after the botched coup attempt in Turkey in 2016.
Turkey warns Cyprus over planned drilling for gas in EEZ
Ankara issued new warnings against Greece and Cyprus over the latter's planned drilling activity for gas in the Eastern Mediterranean, according to a statement issued by the Turkish National Security Council which met on Thursday under President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
