Nikolic: Prague can provide much assistance on EU path
PRAGUE - Serbia sees a great friend in the Czech Republic - its friendship dates back to the pre-WWII period and, as an EU member, it can provide much assistance to Serbia in its European integration, Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic said in Prague Tuesday.
Serbian gov't, Gorenje sign memorandum of cooperation
VALJEVO - Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic and Gorenje Group President Franjo Bobinac signed in Valjevo, central Serbia, on Thursday a memorandum of cooperation between the Serbian government and the Slovenian household appliance maker envisioning investments worth 12 mln euros, expansion of production capacities and new employment.

Serbian Minister Admits 'Mistake' Quitting Warsaw Summit
Serbian Foreign Minister Dacic told at a press conference on Thursday that he might have been wrong to walk out of a meeting in Warsaw over comments he said were made by his Kosovo counterpart, Enver Hoxhaj.
"I might have made a mistake, but at that moment that was how I felt," he said.

EU report focuses on hardships of EU's Roma population
A report issued by a European Union agency says that about 80 percent of almost 34,000 Roma, or Gypsies, surveyed in nine EU nations live below the poverty level.
The report also says that every third Roma child goes to bed hungry at least once a month, while 50 percent between 6 and 24 do not attend school.
