Sofia's Oldest Trams To Be Decommissioned
The oldest tramways in Sofia, which are more than half a century old, will be decommissioned within a month, stated the Executive Director of Sofia Electric Transport Evgeny Ganchev.
These will be replaced by second-hand tramways purchased from the Czech Republic by Sofia Municipality. 15 of those are already in operation and the remaining 5 will be launched.

Troicki defeats Rosol to set up clash with Nadal
SHANGHAI - Serbia's Viktor Troicki has got off to a successful start at the Shanghai Masters ATP tennis tournament after beating Lukas Rosol of the Czech Republic 6-2, 6-4 in the opening round on Monday.
Troicki, who won after 67 minutes of play, is now 3-3 head-to-head against Rosol thanks to a third consecutive victory over the Czech.

Naked bike-rider chased by police (video)
Police officers in the Czech Republic were involved in a strange road pursuit, when they stared chasing a nude motorcyclist. The video shows a police car in pursuit of the butt-naked rider, but their attempt at catching up with him initially being thwarted by the presence of a red Audi between their patrol car and the man.

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Wednesday received the Czech Foreign Ministry's special Western Balkans and OSCE envoy Stefan Fuele.
Regional stability is a foundation for economic prosperity in Serbia and the entire region, and regional reconciliation and cooperation remains a priority of the Serbian government policy, Vucic noted.

Czech FM: We wouldn't put migrants on empty islands
The Czech government has distanced itself from controversial remarks made by the country's President Milos Zeman, who suggested that thousands of economic migrants be deported from European states to uninhabited Greek islands.

Milos Zeman, the Czech president, has called for hundreds of thousands of economic migrants who arrived in Europe since early last year to be deported, and claimed Muslim migrants’ culture is fundamentally incompatible with European society. The Czech leader suggested migrants could be relocated to “empty places” in north Africa or on “uninhabited Greek islands”. He warned of a “strong connecti
