Wealthy Gulf nations face questions over Syria refugees

As hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees languish in camps or risk their lives to reach Europe, questions are being asked about why wealthy Gulf states have accepted so few.
 
By the end of August, more than four million Syrians had fled their country but very few if any refugees have been officially accepted by the six countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
 

Why do we bash the West but not Saudi Arabia?

We are talking about Saudi Arabia. 

It is a country that is filthy rich and sends its petro dollars to U.S. banks. 

The members of the family live in the utmost luxury. 

They enjoy palaces that are much bigger than ours. Saudi Arabia has closed its door. It does not allow even one desperate refugee to pass through the doors of the country.

Turkish Limak wins new terminal construction tender of Kuwait Int'l Airport for $4.34 bln

Turkey?s Limak ?n?aat announced it won a tender to build the new terminal in the Kuwait International Airport for $4.34 billion in a written statement on Aug. 18. 

The company, the construction unit of Limak Holding, said the bid of 1.31 billion dinars ($4.34 billion) was approved by the Kuwait Central Tenders Committee (CTC). 

Suicide bombing in Saudi mosque for security forces kills 13

A suicide bomb attack inside a mosque in a local security forces headquarters in Abha city in south-west Saudi Arabia killed 13 people and wounded nine on Aug. 6, the Saudi state news agency reported, citing an interior ministry spokesman.

State television had earlier reported a death toll of 17.
