The Serbian Orthodox Churc's new TV station, TV Hram (Temple) starts broadcasting on Orthodox Christmas, January 7.

The first programme on the online station will be an interview with Church leader Patriarch Irinej.

The managing editor of the station is Stojadin Pavlovic, the director of the patriarchal administrative offices.

Serbian Church launches internet TV station

BELGRADE -- The Serbian Orthodox Church will on Thursday launch its television station, TV Hram ("TV Temple"), that will be available only online.

This will coincide with the Christmas holiday period, marked in Serbia according to the Julian calendar, on January 7.

EU, Balkans tackle organised crime, weapons trafficking

Police divers and de-miners have found more than 600 unexploded anti-ship mines, bombs and other explosive devices in Montenegrin waters this year.

The underwater mines, left over from World War I and II, were located and neutralized off shore in the bay near the resort towns of Kotor and Tivat.

Montenegro "must do everything to be invited to NATO"

PODGORICA -- Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic has said that his country "must not miss the chance to receive an invitation to join NATO next year."

In his New Year's address on Wednesday, he said Montenegro in 2014 proved to be a reliable partner to the European Union and NATO.
