More than 1.1 million cases of coronavirus have been confirmed worldwide, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
There are 1,100,283 confirmed COVID-19 cases globally.
Some 58,929 people died after contracting the virus, while 226,669 recovered after treatment.

In 2018, around 672 300 persons acquired citizenship of one of the 27 Member States of the European Union (EU), down from 700 600 in 2017 and 843 900 in 2016.

By order of Minister of Health, Kiril Ananiev, the entry into and transit through the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria of heavy goods vehicles travelling to the Republic of Turkey and arriving from the following countries is temporarily suspended as of March 25:

Turkish Airlines will ground all international flights except five routes from March 27 to April 17, the national flag carrier announced on March 22.

The Romanian citizens who are currently at the border between Austria and Hungary can cross the neighboring country's territory as of 12:00hrs, Hungary's time, until the blockage is clear, and the transit is allowed everyday, between 21:00hrs and 05:00hrs, Hungary's time, on the routes indicated by this country's authorities, a release of the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) informs.
