Vucic: No one will break steely Sino-Serbian friendship

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday no one would be able to break the steely Sino-Serbian friendship, and thanked Chinese President Xi Jinping for the fact China had always stood with Serbia in difficult times.

Serbia will always stand with China, Vucic said after an exchange of documents on bilateral cooperation.

Xi: China supports Serbia's efforts to preserve territorial integrity

BELGRADE - Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Wednesday in Belgrade China supported Serbia's endeavours to conduct an independent policy and follow a path of development that suited its own interests, as well as its efforts to preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity regarding the Kosovo-Metohija issue.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday Serbia would have China's firm support on all issues raised in the UN and that a joint statement signed by him and Chinese President Xi Jinping raised the level of bilateral relations from strategic ties to a community with a shared future in the new era as the highest form of cooperation between Serbia and China.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Chinese President Xi Jinping signed on Wednesday in Belgrade a joint statement on raising the level of the bilateral strategic partnership and building a China-Serbia community with a shared future in the new era.

At a ceremony, Serbia and China also exchanged 28 documents on cooperation.

Xi: Sino-Serbian relations on high level

BELGRADE - Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Wednesday in Belgrade he was honoured and impressed by the magnificent welcome in the Serbian capital, as well as by the hospitality and friendship of the people of Serbia, which he noted confirmed that Sino-Serbian relations were on a high level and that the two nations maintained an iron-clad friendship.

A Greek agenda for the Balkans

The situation in the Western Balkans is (once again) cause for concern. In Kosovo, tensions between the ethnic-Albanian majority and ethnic Serbs are a near-daily occurrence, while in North Macedonia, the nationalist VMRO-DPMNE party is expected to win in presidential and parliamentary elections.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday Chinese President Xi Jinping was a great friend of Serbia and that his visit to Belgrade was historic.

Standing beside Xi on the northern balcony of the Palace of Serbia, Vucic was addressing dozens of thousands of people who had gathered outside the building to greet the two presidents.
