Three in four young Greeks living at home, OECD says

Three out of four Greeks aged between 15 and 24 were still living at home in 2014, according to a report by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) made public this month.

The annual report, called "Society at a Glance," found that southern European countries hardest hit by the debt crisis had the highest rates of young people remaining with their parents.

Worst August in years for Greek tourism, BoG data shows

According to data released by the Bank of Greece (BoG), revenue from the tourism industry had dropped by 9.85 billion Euros (7.1%) over the past 8-moth period, compared to the same period in 2015, which is a record low from the start of the year in January till the end of the summer season in August.

14,500 year old etchings found in Spain

BELGRADE - More than 50 cave etchings thought to be around 14,500 years old have been found in the northern Spanish town of Lekeitio, Associated Press reported.

Bizkaia regional official Unai Rementeria announced the discovery in a press conference on Thursday, saying the etchings were a "treasure of mankind", and "of exceptional technical quality and visibility".

SHANGHAI - Serbia's Viktor Troicki has got off to a successful start at the Shanghai Masters ATP tennis tournament after beating Lukas Rosol of the Czech Republic 6-2, 6-4 in the opening round on Monday.

Troicki, who won after 67 minutes of play, is now 3-3 head-to-head against Rosol thanks to a third consecutive victory over the Czech.
