Turkey defeats Italy in Euro Basketball 2015 group match
Turkey beat Italy 89-87 in its first Group B phase game in EuroBasket 2015 Sept. 5.
Turkey completed the first quarter 13 points ahead (26-13), while the second and third quarters ended 25-29, and 15-19, respectively with Italy four points ahead in each.

16 days if Eurobasket kicked off on Saturday with six days of group play at several European locations before the action is transferred to Lille, France.

Greece ‘champions’ in unemployment, says Eurostat
Greece has the highest rate of unemployment among Eurozone member-states, according to a Eurostat report, published Tuesday. In more detail, Greece tops the list of general unemployment data (25% in May), and unemployment for people below the 25-year old threshold (a staggering 51.8%).

Schaeuble attacks Tsipras: Things won’t get easier if you ask people for reforms
German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble praised Spain saying it was a model for the success of macroeconomic reforms, which led Spain back to growth.
