Serbia: CIA spy discovered in MIA? - report
BELGRADE - Operatives of the Security Information Agency (BIA), in cooperation with colleagues from the Serbian Interior Ministry detained a few days ago a high official of the Criminal Police Directorate (UKP). He is suspected of leaking classified information to the CIA officers who are serving in the US Embassy in Belgrade, unofficially learned Serbian daily "Novosti".

Serbian national team wins 3×3 basketball World Cup
BELGRADE - Serbian national team won the gold medal after it defeated the United States with 21:16 in the final of the World Cup in 3×3 basketball.
This was the third consecutive World Cup finals for the Serbian basketball players, who won the first edition in 2012 in Athens, while two years ago they were defeated from Qatar in Moscow.
US military 'begins shelling' ISIL in Mosul
The U.S. military deployed to the east of Iraq's Mosul has started shelling Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) targets as part of an operation to retake the city, a Peshmerga commander said on Oct. 15, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

5.2-magnitude tremor rattles northwestern Greece
The Athens-based Institute of Geodynamics reports that a 5.2-magnitude earthquake has occurred near the northwestern Greek city of Ioannina, about 205 miles (330 kilometers) northwest of the capital Athens.
There were no reports of damages or casualties thus far.

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic and US Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott said Wednesday their countries' bilateral relations are on an upward trajectory, as confirmed by US Vice President Joe Biden's visit to Serbia.
