Turkish association wants TV series stars to lure Latin American tourists
The Turkish Touristic Hotels and Investors Association (TUROB) is hoping to see Turkish TV series stars used to promote Turkey as a tourism destination in Latin America.
The TUROB said the popularity of Turkey in Latin America as a tourism destination has been rising mainly thanks to Turkish TV series, which are broadcasted in the region.

Meteor colours sky green over Argentina (video)
A massive fireball with a streaking orange tail gave the night a green tint. The bright object soared over Argentina and could be clearly seen from the capital Buenos Aires. The dazzling spectacle lasted only for a few seconds, and could also be seen from the south of Brazil and Uruguay.

Uruguay to receive new group of Syrian refugees
Uruguay will take in a new group of Syrian refugees by the end of the year, officials said July 20, adding that the country was committed to helping alleviate a humanitarian crisis.
A total of 117 family members are being relocated to Uruguay from refugee camps in Lebanon.
