Sports Digest: AEK to host Basketball Champions League Final Four
BASKETBALL: AEK has qualified to the Final Four of the Basketball Champions League after getting an 83-83 result at Strasbourg on Wednesday night to win their quarterfinal tie by nine points on aggregate. On Thursday it also found out it will host the Final Four at the Olympic Sports Hall in Athens, on May 4-6.
Two Greek teams make the Champions League last 16 (but in basketball)
AEK and PAOK grabbed the results they needed on Tuesday night and advanced to the knock-out stages of the Basketball Champions League. While PAOK did so in style, with a 21-point away win at Ventspils, AEK's advance was particularly dramatic, and determined a few minutes after the end of its game against Bayreuth in Athens.

Greens alone at the Basket League summit
Panathinaikos is alone on top of the Basket League after defeating hitherto unbeaten Promitheas Patras 96-64 on Monday, while the Basketball Champions League obligations appear to take their tool on Greece's participants, who suffered in the local championship.
