Yugoslav Ex-Officer Pleads Not Guilty to Croatian Village Attack
Dusan Loncar entered a not guilty plea at Belgrade Higher Court on Tuesday, insisting that he did not issue an order to attack the Croatian village of Lovas in October 1991, causing civilian casualties.
"After 32 years [since the attack], I saw that order for the first time when my lawyer got the documents [from the court] after the preparatory hearing," Loncar told the court.

Zagreb County Court on Monday acquitted former Yugoslav People's Army, JNA colonel Vladimir Davidovic of the shelling of the northern Croatian city of Varazdin in September 1991 after retrying him in absentia.

On that same day in Traktorska Street in Sijekovac, a village near the northern Bosnian town of Bosanski Brod, where Milosevic still lives, soldiers and members of paramilitary groups, some of which consisted of locals Croats and Bosniaks, killed his father Luka and two brothers, Zeljko and Dragan, who was 17. Zeljko's body has never been found.
