İYİ (Good) Party leader Meral Akşener has said she “really wants” to form an alliance with the Felicity Party (SP) and the Democrat Party (DP), two small conservative parties with no seats in parliament, ahead of the 2019 elections.

Starting his political career in the 1950s, Sezgin served in seven cabinets as minister throughout the 1990s. He died of multiple organ failure at the Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) on Dec. 7.
