Gazprom to Buy 50% of Shares in South Stream Transport
Russia's energy concern Gazprom is to acquire half of the shares of its Berlin-based subsidiary, South Stream Transport.
Gazprom's board of directors agreed that a total of 205 900 shares will be sold by Gazprom Germania to the main company, RIA Novosti reported.
US 'Shows Evidence' of Russian Soldiers in Eastern Ukraine
The US State Department has released photos purportedly showing the presence of Russian soldiers in Eastern Ukraine.
According to US officials, the photos prove that some of the fighters taking part in Ukraine's recent unrest are actually special forces from Russia and even seemed to have Russian insignia, CNN has reported.

A US warship heading towards the Black Sea passed through the Dardanelles Strait on Tuesday.
USS Taylor was already deployed in the sea back in February, during the Sochi Olympics.

US Vice President Biden to Meet Ukraine's Yatsenyuk, Turchynov
US Vice-President Joe Biden is due to hold talks with the Ukrainian leadership on Tuesday.

European Elections Registration Ends Tuesday in Bulgaria
Tuesday is the deadline for parties, coalitions, and independent candidates to register for the European Parliament elections in Bulgaria.
So far 18 parties, 6 coalitions and 5 nomination committees have registered in the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), Novanews.bg revealed. On Wednesday, CEC will draw the positions for each candidate on the ballots.

South Korean Ferry Death Toll at 108
The death toll from the sunken South Korean ferry has rose to 108 on the sixth day of the search operations.
Dozens of bodies were retrieved over the last two days, but 190 remain missing, Euronews reported. Many of the victims were children, travelling on a school trip to the resort island Jeju.
