Bulgaria Registers BGN 250 M Budget Surplus for First Quarter of 2015

According to preliminary data of Bulgaria's Finance Ministry, the country will register a budget surplus of BGN 250 M for the first quarter of the new year.

This will be the first surplus recorded in the first quarter of the year since 2009, the ministry's press service reports.

Bulgarian Living in US Detained over Death Threats on EU Officials

A Bulgarian man living in Houlton, US ha been accused of sending emails containing death threats to "a member of the European Commission", local media reports suggest.

According to The Sun Journal, Dushko Detelinov Vulchev, 38, allegedly wrote an email "to a Bulgarian economist and administrator who is a member of the European Commission".

Serbian parliamentary delegation starts visit to Bulgaria

SOFIA - A delegation of the Serbian parliamentary headed by Chairman of its European Integration Committee Aleksandar Senic begun their two-day visit to Bulgaria.

Senic told Tanjug that they would meet with Bulgaria's officials to talk about the country's experiences in accession negotiations and discuss cross-border cooperation.
