NASA responds to Turkish claims of superiority, says it is not involved in weather forecasts

NASA has responded to remarks by Turkish Forestry and Waterworks Minister Veysel Ero?lu, who raised eyebrows by claiming that Turkey's technology on meteorological weather forecasts is more advanced than that of the space agency. 

Bulgaria's Security Agency Conducts Inspection at State Fund Agriculture

Bulgaria's State Agency for National Security (DANS) and the specialized prosecutor's office conducted an inspection at the State Fund Agriculture on Wednesday.

The executive director of the fund, Rumen Porozhanov, revealed that the authorities requested documents concerning contracts under the Rural Development programme.

Turkish military shells ISIL after projectiles hit southeastern province

Turkish artillery units began to shell Syrian positions of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) hours after two projectiles hit the southeastern province of Kilis, located near Turkey's Syrian border, and wounded three on April 7. 

Military officials said the ISIL positions spotted by projectile traces were under heavy shelling following the incident.

Elder Le Pen convicted again for dismissing Nazi gas chamber

Jean-Marie Le Pen, founder and former head of France's far-right National Front party, has been convicted of denying crimes against humanity for repeating that the Nazi gas chambers are a "detail" of World War II history.

A Paris court convicted then sentenced Le Pen on Wednesday to a 30,000 euros ($34,000) fine plus paying damages to three associations, plaintiffs in the case.
