Bulgarian Shot Dead in Quezon City in ATM Fraud
A Bulgarian, involved in ATM (automated teller machine) skimming, was shot dead by masked assailants at 10:20 p.m. on Thursday as he traversed Kalayaan Avenue in Quezon City. When Orlin Grozdanov Stoev, 38, approached Kamias Road at Barangay Pinyahan, the suspects opened fire at him.

Macron says France will not recognise Crimea 'annexation'
President Emmanuel Macron said Monday France refuses to recognise Russia's "annexation" of the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea, AFP reported.

UK PM May welcomes Trump's pick for U.S. ambassador
The planned appointment of National Football League team owner Woody Johnson as U.S. ambassador to London shows President Donald Trump's commitment to close ties with Britain, Prime Minister Theresa May's spokeswoman said on Friday, cited by Reuters.
"We are looking forward to working with the new U.S. ambassador once that is confirmed," May's spokeswoman said.
