Turkish police arrest an ISIS suspect who worked at nuclear power plant
Counterterrorism police in Turkey have arrested an Islamic State group suspect who was working at a nuclear power plant being built in the country's south, local media reported Tuesday.
The Russian national had been working at the Akkuyu nuclear facility under false identity papers, the Ihlas News Agency and other media reported.

Two ISIL members arrested in Kırşehir
The so-called high-rank commander and the provincial communications head of ISIL have been arrested in the Central Anatolian province of Kırşehir, İhlas News Agency has reported.
"The two ISIL suspects were detained in a simultaneous operation held by the security forces in the province," the agency reported on Oct. 29.

Astronaut pens letter to Turkish girl from space
A child from the Central Anatolian province of Kayseri has ranked first in a painting competition organized by the European Space Agency (ESA) after drawing the picture of Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, receiving a letter of thanks from her.
İlknur Sinem Sezer, a fourth-grade primary school student, applied to ESA's painting contest named "Living in Space."

Turkish drones perform country’s first formation flight
Two Turkish-made unmanned aerial vehicles have performed a formation flight for the first time at Teknofest, Türkiye's largest aerospace and technology festival, with Selçuk Bayraktar, the producing company's chief technology officer, serving as the second pilot.
Aircraft, vehicles assemble to form ‘100’ to mark Victory Day
The officials of the Istanbul Airport have issued a video clip celebrating the 100th year of the Dumlupınar Battle by forming "100" on one of the runways with three aircraft and more than 100 vehicles.
The number "1" was formed with three aircraft parked on the runway, while the two zeros were formed with 108 airport vehicles assembled closely.

Lake Arin in Türkiye's east has become the new attraction point for birdwatchers and photography enthusiasts as it hosts hundreds of flamingos during this time of the year.
One side of the lake is in the eastern province of Van's Erçek district, and the other is in the Adilcevaz district of another eastern province, Bitlis.
MİT ‘neutralizes’ two terrorists in N Iraq
The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT), has neutralized two more PKK terrorists in the last incident of the surgical attack series in northern Iraq, İhlas News Agency has reported.
"Two terrorists were neutralized in the Asos region of the Sulaymaniyah province," the agency wrote.
