An Earthquake Hit the Austrian Alps

An earthquake hit the Austrian Alps. The quake was 4 on the Richter scale, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center reported.

The natural phenomenon is registered at 37 km from the capital of Liechtenstein Vaduz, as the earthquake reached a depth of 1 km. The earthquake struck just before 02:50 local time. There is no information about injured people or material damage.

Strong Earthquake with a Magnitude of 4.9 on the Richter Scale near Athens

An earthquake of 4.9 magnitude magnitude was recorded not far from Athens, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center reported.

The quake was at 06:02 local time and lasted about 20 seconds. The epicenter was 81 kilometers from the Greek capital. It was at a depth of 10 kilometers.

There is no evidence of damage and injuries.

A Powerful Earthquake in Chile

A 5.9-magnitude quake was recorded in the coastal areas of Chile, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center reported.

According to them, the epicenter of the earthquake was 218 km northwest of Santiago, the Chilean capital. The earthquake was at a depth of 10 km.

Earthquake of 4 on the Richter Scale in Turkey

An earthquake of magnitude 4 on the Richter scale is registered today in Eastern Turkey, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center reported, quoted by bTV. 

According to local media quoted by the seismological Kandilli Observatory in Istanbul, the quake is 4.3 on the Richter scale.

It is registered at 12:41 am and its epicenter is in the Erdzhish Yancuttepe area.

Earthquake was Registered in Greece

An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale was registered in Greece at 6.16 am on August 29, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center website.

The epicenter of the earthquake was 45 km east of Thessaloniki and 23 km north of Poligiros, seven kilometers under the earth's crust.

There is no evidence of material damage.

5.2-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Athens

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake shook Athens Tuesday morning.

There have been no reports of casualties, injured, or damage so far.

The earthquake struck at 4:09 a.m. in the Aegean Sea, with an epicenter located at a depth of 13 kilometers, 80 kilometers north of Athens, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center.

Small 2.9-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Southern Bulgaria

An earthquake measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale was registered on Bulgarian territory early on Tuesday, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

The earthquake was felt at 5:07 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the EMSC.

The epicenter was located 6km north of Asenovgrad, 12km southeast of Plovdiv, and 144km southeast of Sofia.
