Vucic: We will never accept an independent "Kosovo"

BELGRADE - Prior to Friday's meeting with Patriarch Porfirije of the Serbian Orthodox Church and Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija were targeted by brutal persecution that was not easy to stop, but noted that Serbia would never accept an independent "Kosovo".

"In any case, through political means, we will oppose their unlawful and all other acts of violence and do everything we can for our people in Kosovo-Metohija. And, of course, I do not have to repeat that we will never accept an independent 'Kosovo' as a finished fact," Vucic noted.
