The ceremony was attended by Olympic Committee of Serbia President Bozidar Maljkovic, General Secretary Djordje Visacki, and all members of Team Serbia.

BELGRADE - The prestigious US magazine Swimming World has named Serbia's Filip Filipovic male water polo player of the year for 2016.

Filipovic, captain of the Serbia national team, won the long-awaited Olympic gold and the Player of the Tournament Award in Rio de Janeiro, and was subsequently named Best Male Athlete of the Year by the Olympic Committee of Serbia in December.
