EUR 30m in EU funds on hand for digital transformation of SMEs

Ljubljana – A total of EUR 30 million in funds will be allocated to small and medium-sized enterprises in Slovenia as part of a call for applications for digital transformation of SMEs (P4D React EU), the government has announced. Businesses invited to join Expo showcase in Dubai

Ljubljana – The organisers of the Slovenian Expo 2020 pavilion invited Slovenian companies to join the world exposition in Dubai with an online event on Wednesday. “Expo 2020 will likely be the only major international event for a long while, thus we would like for Slovenia to use it well,” said Tomaž Kostanjevec, director of the SPIRIT agency.

EUR 77m in favourable loans available, travel agencies first in line

Ljubljana – The Slovenian Enterprise Fund has published a call for applications for favourable loans for mitigating the consequences of the Covid-19 epidemic on companies, worth a total of EUR 77 million. In the first round, the sole beneficiaries will be companies providing travel services.

EUR 103 million available for SME liquidity guarantees

Ljubljana – The Slovenian Enterprise Fund has issued a call for bank loan guarantees worth EUR 103 million for micro, small and medium-sized companies. It plans to support around 650 projects.

Under the facility, companies can secure bank loans under favourable conditions and with a subsidised interest rate, the fund said on Friday.

Govt makes public national recovery and resilience plan, opposition calls for debate

Ljubljana – The government has declassified the draft national recovery and resilience plan after pressure from the opposition that a broad debate was required on the document. The parliamentary EU Affairs Committee discussed the plan on Friday, rejecting all recommendations from opposition parties.
