8 YPG/PKK terrorists ‘neutralized’ in N Syria
Turkey's National Defense Ministry on April 8 said a total of eight YPG/PKK terrorists were "neutralized" in northern Syria.
In a Twitter post, the ministry said commando units struck a group of four terrorists who opened harassment fire on security forces in the area, earlier cleared by Turkey's Euphrates Shield Operation.

New Idlib cease-fire set to take effect
A new cease-fire in an area of northwestern Syria rocked by violence is set to start just after midnight on Jan. 12, Turkey announced.
Turkey had pushed hard for the cease-fire, coming after Idlib, Syria endured months of battering by the Assad regime and its allies, sending about a million war-weary civilian refugees flocking to the Turkish border.

Turkish, US defense ministers discuss Iraq over phone
Turkey's defense minister held a phone conversation with his U.S. counterpart to discuss recent developments in Iraq, an official statement from Turkey said on Jan. 6.
According to the statement issued by Turkey's National Defense Ministry, Turkey's Hulusi Akar and the U.S.'s Mark Esper addressed security issues in the region concerning both countries.
PKK/YPG attack in N Syria kills 1, wounds 26 civilians
At least one civilian was killed and 26 injured in a car bomb attack in northern Syria on Dec. 18, according to Turkey's National Defense Ministry.
"Another crime has been added to the list of inhumane terror attacks carried out by PKK/YPG terrorists who know no limits when it comes to evil," the ministry said on Twitter.
