FSS writes to UEFA over situation in Kosovo-Metohija
BELGRADE - The Football Association of Serbia (FSS) on Monday wrote to UEFA over the situation in Kosovo-Metohija and Pristina's ban on competitions organised by Serbs in the province.
The urgent letter to UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin and Secretary General Theodore Theodoridis was signed by FSS President Dragan Dzajic and Secretary General Jovan Surbatovic.
Aleksander Čeferin re-elected UEFA boss
Aleksander Čeferin, a 55-year-old Slovenian lawyer, won another term as president of UEFA, the European governing body of football, at the 47th UEFA congress in Lisbon on 5 April.
Čeferin has been at the helm of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) since 2016 and was the only candidate for the job, so the vote, which was unanimous, was a mere formality.

Vlahovic scores brace to give Serbia win over Montenegro
PODGORICA - Serbia beat Montenegro 2-0 in a UEFA EURO 2024 Qualifying Group G Match Day 2 game in Podgorica on Monday evening.
In front of 10,000 spectators, Serbia striker Dusan Vlahovic scored in the 78th minute following a Filip Mladenovic assist and added a second goal five minutes into second-half injury time after a Sasa Lukic pass to make it 2-0.
EPO chief aims to bring elite refs to Greek soccer
The president of the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO), Takis Baltakos, said on Monday that he will ask for UEFA's assistance in bringing in elite and first-class referees for the remaining playoff matches of the Greek Superleague.

Athens to host two European football finals
Athens will host two European football finals over the coming 16 months. They include the final of the Conference League that will be held in the OPAP Arena in May 2024, as well as the European Super Cup that will be held at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in 2023.

Ceferin: Regional football league not ruled out
BELGRADE - UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin said in Belgrade on Friday a regional football league was not ruled out despite the risks associated with organising one.
Ceferin's statement comes in the wake of increasingly frequent talk of such a competition, modelled on the football league of the former Yugoslavia.
