Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic is to officially hand over the accession document at a ceremony on Monday in Washington, after which the tiny Adriatic country will become the 29th NATO member.

As I contemplated a visit to Istanbul this year, I was confronted with multiple warnings of  danger there.  The Western media seemed to be obsessed with concerns about the Muslim world, its perceived hostility toward the West and the ever-present threats of terrorism there.

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has commented on speculation that US State Department official Hoyt Brian Yee does not represent the current US administration.

Vucic did this after meeting with Yee in Belgrade on Wednesday.

Republican Senator John McCain told MSNBC that the Turkish Ambassador to the US should be kicked out of the country following the attack by the personal bodyguards of visiting Turkish President Recep Erdogan in Washington against Kurdish protesters in front of the Embassy.
