Photo exhibition "Romania: Evolution" organised by the AGERPRES National News Agency on the centennial of the December 1, 1918 Greater Union opened on Thursday in the foyer of the Iasi Athenaeum, on the second evening of the Romanian Film Evenings.

AGERPRES Romanian National News Agency presented in Vienna the "Great Union - Romania, at 100" documentary and the "Romania: Evolution" photo exhibition, on the occasion of the event "Vienna - 'The Great Union Centennial' 2018," carried out over May 25 - 27.

The AGERPRES National News Agency has presented its "The Greater Union - Romania at 100" documentary and its photo exhibition "Romania: Evolution" at the Romanain Embassy in Washington DC, as part of the Open Doors Day, attended by over 4,000 Americans.

AGERPRES Director General Alexandru Giboi talked Thursday, during the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) conference, about the goals of the institution he runs, mentioning that amongst them is promoting the evolution of media and supporting national media.

The conference of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) is taking place for the first time in Bucharest, between 25-27 April, with the AGERPRES Romanian National News Agency being the co-organiser of the meeting.

The "Greater Union - Romania at 100" video documentary produced by the AGERPRES Romanian National News Agency, was premiered in Moldova at the Odeon Cultural Centre in Chisinau on Wednesday.

The AGERPRES documentary "The Greater Union - 100 Years of Romania" on Thursday ran for the first time in the presence of Custodian of the Romanian Crown Margareta and Princess Maria, at a screening hosted by the CinemaPro hall in Bucharest.

AGERPRES Director General Alexandru Giboi said before the screening that the film is "hundred percent about emotions."

A photo exhibition of the AGERPRES National News Agency called "Romania: Evolution 100 Years," part of the celebrations of the December 1, 1918 Greater Union Centennial, opened at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on Tuesday, with the UN General Assembly President Miroslav Lajcak highlighting the progress of Romania, about which he said is currently "modern and well-integrated."
