Less than 24 hours after a court order was issued for the ejection of George Koutsolioutsos from the board of troubled jewelry-maker Folli Follie, a financial prosecutor on Tuesday filed criminal charges against Koutsolioutsos and his family who founded the company.

Former CEO of Greek jeweller Folli quits board
The former chief executive officer of Greek jewellery maker Folli Follie has resigned from the company's board, Folli said on Tuesday.
George Koutsolioutsos, the son of Folli's founders Dimitris and Ekaterini, stepped down from the CEO post in December last year after a hedge fund report questioned the company's accounting.

Prominent businessman Thanasis Giannakopoulos dies
The president of one of Greece's biggest pharmaceutical companies and an influential personality in the Greek sports world, Thanasis Giannakopoulos has died. He was 88.
The last of three brothers, Giannakopoulos died on Tuesday in the intensive care unit of the Greek capital's Hygeia Hospital after suffering a stroke.

Two jailed Greek soldiers to be reassigned posts in Turkey
