A new era has begun in the United States, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Nov. 9, adding that he hopes the American people's choice of Donald Trump in the Nov. 8 election will "bring favorable developments."  
"I wish a future full of success and that the choice of the American people be favorable, on behalf of my nation and myself," Erdoğan said.

Stunned participants at U.N. climate talks in Marrakesh insisted Nov. 9 that climate change denier Donald Trump cannot derail the global shift to clean energy, although some called his victory in U.S. presidential elections a "disaster."

BELGRADE - Vice-chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee in Serbian Parliament said that victory of Republican Party nominee Donald Trump in the US elections is likely to signify more peaceful US foreign policies and better US cooperation with the East, Russia in particular.

BELGRADE - The US foreign policy is based on national interests and I do not expect it to change significantly as regards Serbia, US Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott said Wednesday.

The relations with Serbia were not mentioned too frequently in Donald Trump's election campaign, Scott told the RTS.

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Wednesday congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the US presidential elections, expressing the hope it would help further improvement of Serbia-US relations.

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic has congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the U.S. presidential race.

The Greek government sought to play down speculation Wednesday that the election of Donald Trump as US President would alter Washington's foreign policy on Greece and previously-stated support for debt relief.

"The significance that the US place on Greece does not change," a government source was quoted by local media as saying Wednesday.

SYRIZA MEP Dimitris Papadimoulis has reacted to Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential vote describing it as a "negative development" for democracy.
