Montenegro Commemorates Family Murdered While Fleeing Bosnia

The three Bosniaks were murdered in the Piva River canyon near Pluzine after escaping from the Serb-held town of Foca in eastern Bosnia.

The killers were members of the Bosnian Serb Army's Dragan Nikolic special unit.

"Montenegro called for Vukovic's extradition in 2016. The Serbian [justice] ministry made no decision on extradition," said Tea Gorjanc Prelevic, head of Human Rights Action.

'Cases of Evil: Vlasenica', a 25-minute documentary telling the story of the crimes that were committed in the eastern Bosnian town during the 1992-95 war, is now available to watch online.

The film was produced by the Post-Conflict Research Center and PINCH Media for the Srebrenica Memorial Centre's video archive, with financial support from BIRN.

Keyboard Days festival to open in Belgrade November 18

BELGRADE - A concert of the LP Duo ensemble will open the Keyboard Days Festival at Belgrade's Kolarac on November 18.

Sonja Loncar and Andrija Pavlovic, who make up the LP Duo, will perform pieces by contemporary composers as well as original music.

The Quantum music project, which will be the main topic of this year's festival, will be presented.

Toronto Serbian Film Festival to honor Dragan Nikolic

TORONTO - The Toronto Serbian Film Festival, to be held November 3-13, will be dedicated to the late actor Dragan Nikolic, once the festival's guest with the movies Zona Zamfirova and Labyrinth, the Serbian Film Center website said.

Train Driver's Diary by Milos Radovic, nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, will open the festival.

A large number of people gathered at Belgrade's New Cemetery to pay their last tribute to actor Dragan Nikolic on Monday.

Today's commemoration at the Atelje 212 Theater was attended by his friends, colleagues and admirers, including Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, Assembly President Maja Gojkovic and Minister of Culture and Information Ivan Tasovac.

BELGRADE -- A 16-year-old Serb girl in the village of Pasjane has come under attack when an unknown man struck her from a moving car.

Suncica Markovic said that the incident happened on the road between Pasjane and Gnjilane, near where a fellow Serb was stabbed late on Monday.
