France hosts Karabakh talks
French President Francois Hollande hosts leaders from Armenia and Azerbaijan today as Europe makes a fresh push to end the festering conflict over Nagorno Karabakh.
Germanyâs Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier visited both countries last week after a sharp escalation in violence over the disputed region in recent months as war raged in Ukraine.

Dacic invited to attend conference in Berlin

Germany OKs Arms Deliveries to Kurds in Fight against IS
The German government has approved a move to send a weapons package to Iraq's Kurdish regional authorities fighting Sunni insurgents called Islamic State (IS).
Germany to send anti-tank weapons, rifles to Iraqi Kurds
Germany will send anti-tank rocket launchers, rifles and hand grenades to support Iraqi Kurds battling jihadist militants fighting for the Islamic State, the Defense Ministry announced Aug. 31.
The move followed a meeting of ministers led by Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin to discuss what Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen described as an "extremely critical" situation in Iraq.

BELGRADE - Serbian Foreign Minister and First Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic said that no pressure was put on him in Germany and that Berlin is primarily interested if Serbia will stay on the EU path, adding that the opening of Chapters 32 and 35 of the EU accession talks can be expected by the end of the year.
