FICT brings to Cluj for one week over 50 publishing houses,provides meetings with European writers

Transylvania International Book Festival (FICT) started on Tuesday in Cluj-Napoca and gathered in the city over 50 publishing houses that will display their book offer throughout the entire week.

The event offers the audience the opportunity to meet Romanian or foreign writers, as well as to attend conferences on literature.

Romanian comedy festival festCo starts with show on superstitions

The 13th edition of the festCo Romanian Comedy Festival started on Saturday night with a short show on superstitions on an outdoor scene in front of the Comedy Theatre of Bucharest, featuring actors Toni Grecu, Dorina Chiriac and Alexandru Bogdan.

European poets, musicians to convene in Bucharest, Wed. through Sun.

Poets, musicians and representatives of some of Europe's most prestigious poetry houses will convene Wednesday through Sunday in Bucharest for the Bucharest International Poetry Fair, the National Trade Fair of Poetry Books and the Poetry and Jazz Marathon, organised by the National Museum of Romanian Literature.
