NBA All-Star starters announced, Giannis, LeBron to captain
The NBA announced the All-Star starters for the 69th All-Star Game that will be held on February 16.
Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo and Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James will be the captains for their teams as they received the highest vote turnouts in their respective conferences.
NBA: Bucks use 1-2 punch to overpower Spurs
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 32 points and Eric Bledsoe added 21 as the host Milwaukee Bucks continued their record-breaking season with a 127-118 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Jan. 4 in the first of back-to-back, home-and-away games between the two teams.
The Bucks and Spurs will also meet on Jan. 6 in San Antonio.

Greece coach Pitino makes plans without Giannis
Greece coach Rick Pitino says he is planning on trying to qualify for the 2020 Olympics without Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Pitino officially took over as coach of the Greek national basketball team on Monday. He said he would leave a roster place open for Antetokounmpo in qualifying games but is not sure if he will be able to rely on his best player.

Seven-point win over the Czechs was not enough for Greece
Greece exited the Basketball World Cup in China from the Round of 16, despite having been tipped for a medal, as its seven-point win (84-77) over the Czech Republic on Monday was not enough for the national team to make the quarterfinals.
Greece thrashes Jordan ahead of World Cup in China
NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and the rest of the Greek national team were in action on Saturday as part of the 2019 Suzhou International Basketball Challenge in China. Greece thrashed Jordan 92-65 in a game that took place ahead of the FIBA World Cup that kicks off in China next Saturday. Antetokounmpo scored 13 points, behind Giorgos Printezis with 17 points.

Antetokounmpo says would swap NBA MVP award for World Cup title
Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has said he would swap his NBA most valuable player award for a FIBA Basketball World Cup title.
"I would exchange the MVP title for the gold medal in China," the 24-year-old told the FIBA Basketball website in an interview ahead of the World Cup in China starting August 31.
Greek hoopsters eye Chinese glory
Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, the National Basketball Association's most valuable player for 2019, attends the official presentation of Greece's national basketball team Thursday ahead of the FIBA World Cup in China from August 31 to September 15. The team, coached by Thanasis Skourtopoulos, includes Antetokounmpo's brothers Thanasis and Kostas.
