BELGRADE - The exhibition entitled 'Prica o drugom zivotu' (Story of another lifetime) opened at the Sava Promenade at the Kalemegdan Fortress on Tuesday within the programme of events to mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade.

Fourth Danube Fest opens with music of French composers
BELGRADE - The Fourth Danube Fest, a festival of Danube cultures, has opened in the Cvijeta Zuzoric pavilion at Kalemegdan Fortress with a concert of French music.
The festival whose programs draw attention to the rich cultural heritage of Belgrade and natural heritage of the Danube River was declared opened by French Ambassador to Serbia Francois Xavier Deniau on Friday evening.
Media laws to come before new Serbian gov't soon
NOVI SAD - Draft media laws will soon be presented to the new Serbian government and forwarded to the parliament in the shortest possible time, State Secretary at the Ministry of Culture and Information Gordana Predic said Friday.

BELGRADE -- Journalists in Serbia are this Thursday marking their day - for the 14th time since it was established in 2001.
On March 27, 1791 (according to the Julian calendar - March 14 in the Gregorian) the first newspaper printed in Serbian came off the presses.
State must protect journalists against pressure, violence
BELGRADE - The state of Serbia should protect the journalists against pressure, threats and violence, and the perpetrators of the crimes must be exposed and adequately punished, it was concluded at the Wednesday's conference "Who, what, where, when, how - Impunity of crimes against journalists".
