Imam Baildi

Known for its remixes of Greek songs from the 1940s, 50s and 50s, local act Imam Baildi joins forces with Greek-Ugandan singer Idra Kayne, for a high-energy show at the Bolivar Beach Bar on Friday, September 7. The show starts at 9 p.m. and tickets cost 10 euros in advance at www.viva.gr or 13 euros at the door on the night.

The Anemi Festival returns to the southern Cycladic island of Folegandros for a three-day musical celebration from July 26 to 28, with events taking place in the main of town of Hora and the Karavostasi port.

Celebrating 10 years on stage and having turned out four albums (with a fifth on the way), local act Imam Baildi - which blends old-school rebetiko with freestyle, downtempo, folk and hip-hop - will be performing at the Bolivar beach bar on Tuesday, September 5, in a show which promises old favorites and sneak previews from their upcoming release. The show starts at 9 p.m.

Club Barrage, on the road to Argassi just outside Zakynthos Town, will be hosting Greek band Imam Baildi on Wednesday, July 26. Known its upbeat remixes of Greek songs from 1950s, 60s and 70s, the band will be performing in the venue's garden. Doors open at 10 p.m. and tickets cost 12 euros when purchased in advance or 15 euros at the door on the night.
