Djokovic races through to round three at Roland Garros
PARIS - Serbia's best ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic advanced to the third round of the French Open with a straight-sets win over Jeremy Chardy of France 6-1 6-4 6-2 on Wednesday.
The second seed produced a composed display against Chardy and used precise ground strokes and a better serving percentage to beat the Frenchman for the ninth straight time.

ROME - Serbia's best tennis player Novak Djokovic qualified for the Rome Masters ATP as he defeated Spain's David Ferrer in the quarterfinal match on Friday, 2-1 (7-5, 4-6, 6-3).
Djokovic, who won the Rome Masters in 2008 and 2011, will cross rackets with Canada's Milos Raonic in the semifinal match as Raonic beat France's Jeremy Chardy in the Friday match, 6-3, 5-7, 6-2.
