The Bulgarian Parliament has ratified the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of the United States on cooperation regarding the construction of nuclear power at the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) site and the Nuclear Program for civil purposes of Bulgaria.

During a parliamentary session, party deputies displayed portions of the fence they claimed to have obtained during a visit to the border area.

"During the negotiations for the admission of Bulgaria into Schengen by air and sea, the Bulgarian government did not undertake any other obligation than to react quickly enough, as required by the Dublin Agreement, in terms of the speed of processing asylum applications".
