Djokovic beats Granollers in Roland Garros opener
PARIS - Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic is off to a successful start to his Roland Garros title defence after beating Spaniard Marcel Granollers 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 in the opening round on Monday.
Djokovic, who won after two and a half hours of play, is now 4-0 head-to-head against Granollers.

Djokovic to face Granollers at start of R. Garros campaign
PARIS - Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic was on Friday drawn to start his title defence at the Roland Garros with a match against Spaniard Marcel Granollers.
It will be the fourth encounter between world number two Djokovic and 76th ranked Granollers, with the Serb currently 3-0 head-to-head without a set lost.

Djokovic beats Pospisil in Shanghai
SHANGHAI - Serbia's Novak Djokovic, the current world number one in men's tennis, is through to the Shanghai Masters quarter-finals after beating world number 131 Vasek Pospisil of Canada 6-4, 6-4 on Thursday.
Djokovic, who won after 81 minutes of play, is now 4-0 head-to-head against Pospisil.

Zimonjic/Matkowski through to Monte Carlo semi-finals
MONTE CARLO - Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia and Marcin Matkowski of Poland advanced to the doubles semi-finals at the ATP Masters in Monte Carlo, after defeating the French-Swiss pair of Benoit Paire/Stanislas Wawrinka in straight sets (6-2, 6-3) on Friday.
Zimonjic, Nestor score victory in their last doubles match
LONDON - Serbian tennis player Nenad Zimonjic and his Canadian colleague Daniel Nestor were won the final group stage match against Spanish players Marc Lopez and Marcel Granollers at the London Masters ATP, 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 11-9.
Unfortunately, the victory with the score at 2-1 was not sufficient to get Zimonjic and Nestor through to the semifinal.
Former champ Ferrer out of Japan open in first round
Marcel Granollers knocked fellow Spaniard and former champion David Ferrer out of the Japan Open in a first-round upset on Monday 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.
Djokovic eases past Tsonga to reach Roland Garros quarters
PARIS - Serbia's top-ranking male tennis player Novak Djokovic reached the quarter-finals of the Roland Garros Grand Slam tennis tournament on Sunday by beating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France 6-1, 6-4, 6-1.
The current world number two now has a 12-5 head-to-head record against Tsonga.
Zimonjic, Nestor through to Rome doubles quarter-finals
ROME - Serbia's Nenad Zimonjic and Daniel Nestor of Canada reached the men's doubles quarter-finals at the Rome Masters tournament late Wednesday by beating Kevin Anderson of South Africa and Jurgen Melzer of Austria 3-6, 7-6 (7-4), 14-12.
Zimonjic and Nestor through to Madrid Masters quarterfinal
MADRID - Serbian tennis player Nenad Zimonjic and Canada's Daniel Nestor qualified for the Madrid Masters quarterfinal for men doubles as they defeated Spain's Marcel Granollers and Marco Lopez, 2-0 - 6-4, 6-2.
In the fight for the semifinal, Zimonjic and Nestor will cross rackets with Austria's Alexander Peya and Brazil's Bruno Soares.
