VIDEO: 13 killed, one wounded in car crash in central Turkey
A major car crash in the Central Anatolian province of Ni?de has killed at least 13 people and injured one, the Turkish police have stated.
A car and a light commercial vehicle were involved in a collision in the early hours of Sept. 25 on the Aksaray-Adana highway, near the Bor district of Ni?de.
Eleven people died at the scene.
Cabinet member quits on first day on job
Hours after starting his new job, a junior minister in Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras' left-wing government resigned late on Sept.23 over messages posted on his Twitter account that were considered racist and anti-Semitic.
Dimitris Kammenos, a deputy minister for infrastructure, submitted his resignation hours after Tsipras' new Cabinet was sworn in.

Turkish films to hit screen in Bodrum
The 5th Bodrum Turkish Films Week will be organized between Sept. 29 and Oct. 4 in the southwestern resort town.
At a press conference held on Sept. 22 at the Trafo Bodrum Hakan Aykan Culture and Arts Center, Bodrum Cinema and Culture Association head Cenk Sezgin said many films will be shown during the event this year.

Russia's central bank saw a rise in suspect securities trades involving large banks in 2014, but the banks themselves stopped the trades after discussions with the regulator, a senior central bank official said on Sept. 23.
