Bank funding for a 451-mln-euro solar project at Amyntaio
Greek banks Alpha, Eurobank and National have signed loan contracts with the energy groups RWE and Public Power Corporation for the construction of four photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of 730 MWp in Amyntaio. This is an investment of 451.4 million euros, with co-financing from the Recovery Fund.

The Market Pass allowance will be granted to Greek consumers without a purchase obligation, Alternate Development and Investments Minister Nikos Papathanassis said Wednesday.
Schools could possibly reopen Jan. 8, says spokesman
Greek government spokesman Stelios Petsas said Saturday that "it is possible" schools will open again on January 8.
The reopening of schools is "a priority" for the government, Petsas told TV station Open.
Petsas added that when schools reopen, it will be for all classes and not just elementary schools.

Coronavirus: Development minister announces further easing of lockdown measures
Deputy Development and Investments Minister Nikos Papathanassis on Wednesday announced the further easing of Covid-19 restrictions.
According to Papathanassis, as of June 6 restaurants and other catering businesses can open indoor areas based on a specific health-safety protocol, including dining areas in hotels.
Stores selling clothes, cosmetics, home appliances reopening on May 11

Health Ministry press briefings on coronavirus to be cut to three a week from May 11
Starting next week, the Health Ministry press briefings on developments concerning the coronavirus pandemic in Greece will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, instead of every day as at present, Health Ministry sources said.
According to the same sources, Deputy Development and Investment Minister Nikos Papathanassis will be present at Friday's briefing.
No more daily Covid-19 briefings as of next week

Supermarkets to restrict customer flows
Starting Monday, supermarkets across Greece will restrict the number of customers allowed inside a shop at any given time.
The number of customers allowed inside at any given time will depend on the size of the premises, Deputy Development Minister Nikos Papathanassis told TV station OPEN.
