BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Defence Minister Milos Vucevic said Pristina's attempt to ban the Serbian dinar in Kosovo-Metohija was an attack on the economic security and livelihoods of Serbs in the province.

Drecun told RTS today that the decision of the administration in Pristina to abolish the dinar is one of the hardest blows for Serbs.
​"Pristina wants to expel the state of Serbia and its presence at the KIM, to eliminate all institutions that can be linked to our state, and to make it impossible for the Serbian people to live normally," Drecun told RTS.

"Personally, I can't take it anymore physically, I can't sleep at night, because unlike you, I know what's happening in the north of Kosovo. It's... Literally everything is boiling. Children are prepared to die, which we have to prevent. They are fed up with Kurti, they are fed up with everything. No one will put up with them anymore, nor their terror. What will they eat?

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian parliamentary committee on Kosovo-Metohija Milovan Drecun said on Tuesday Pristina's PM Albin Kurti had had the support of Quint states for his most recent actions in the north of the province.

As he stated, President of Serbia warned him of all the consequences of Kurti's behavior and provocations, which can lead to the biggest crisis that calls for war.

"What happened was the defeat of Kurti and his regime. What happened was more than that, yesterday the Serbian people showed that they are looking for a different approach from the international community, above all from the Western powers, that they are looking for greater respect, dialogue, and not imposition of the solutions," said Vui.

BELGRADE - Serbian Defence Minister Milos Vucevic said on Friday the objective of the Quint states was a soonest possible recognition of the so-called Kosovo by Serbia.

"We are following the situation in North Mitrovica very carefully. I have seen the statements of President Vui, Prime Minister Brnabi, Petar Petkovi, I am in contact with colleagues in Pritina, Quint's ambassadors here in Belgrade. Rest assured that we put strong pressure on Pritina and expect people to take responsibility for the actions", Godfrey said.
