In a recent development at the National Assembly, MPs from "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB) and members of the budget committee addressed concerns raised by former Prime Minister Boyko Borissov regarding Bulgaria's fiscal reserve. The accusations of fake news and populism were vehemently denied by WCC-DB representatives.

Bulgarian MPs have greenlit a significant shift in consumer rights, deciding that individuals won't be obliged to pay for goods or services if they haven't received a proper receipt. This groundbreaking decision alters the landscape for customers who previously had little recourse if they didn't receive a receipt.

The Bulgarian Parliament finally approved the 2023 Budget in a meeting that started at 9 a.m. yesterday and lasted almost 21 hours.

The financial framework is calculated at a deficit of three percent - on an accrual basis, with the preservation of a large part of the originally proposed capital program.

With 207 votes "for", none against and no abstentions, the National Assembly adopted the additional budget extension with the proposed editorial proposals.

Bulgaria will be able to export processed Russian oil products to Ukraine and other "third" countries "under certain conditions". This was decided in the second reading by the budget committee in the parliament. The legal changes are related to the sanctions imposed on Russian oil because of Moscow's military aggression in Ukraine.

"There is no way we can enter into a joint government with GERB. There is no way this will work," said Venko Sabrutev from "We Continue the Change" to Nova TV.
