Minister of state's home attacked, again
The home of Minister of State Alekos Flambouraris came under attack on Tuesday evening, as unknown assailants hurled rocks and makeshift firebombs at a security detail posted in front of the politician's apartment block.
The property is located in the downtown district of Exarchia and has been attacked in a similar manner on at least two occasions since the start of the year.

Athens mayor bemoans anarchist activity
Athens Mayor Giorgos Kaminis on Friday expressed concern about a recent spike in illegal activities by self-styled anarchists and hit out at the government for failing to curb the phenomenon, accusing it of "surrendering Athens to a wretched minority who aim to become a state within a state."

Hundreds forced to flee open-air film screening

Athens police found guns and thousands of euros in cash on three suspects arrested during a brawl involving some 10 men on Mavromataion Street in the downtown district of Exarchia in the early hours of Wednesday.

Clashes break out in Exarchia, again

According to reports, a group of individuals showered a riot police unit on the corner of Patision and Tositsa Streets with Molotov cocktails. The ensuing clashes last for about two hours.
No arrests or injuries were reported.
