Two YPG/PKK terrorists surrender to Turkish forces
Two YPG/PKK terrorists surrendered to security forces in southeastern Turkey, the National Defense Ministry said on March 8.
Terrorists deserting the terror group in northern Syria turned themselves in at border posts in Suruç of the Şanlıurfa province, the ministry said on Twitter.

5 YPG/PKK terrorists surrender to Turkish forces
A total of five YPG/PKK terrorists have surrendered to security forces in southeastern Turkey, authorities have said.
Three YPG/PKK terrorists, fleeing from northern Syria, turned themselves in at border posts in Şanlıurfa's Suruç and Mardin's Nusaybin districts, the defense ministry said on Feb. 18 in a tweet.

Two YPG/PKK terrorists surrendered to Turkish security forces in southeastern Turkey, the defense ministry announced on Feb. 17.
The ministry said that two YPG/PKK terrorists fleeing from northwestern Syria turned themselves into Turkish security forces in border posts in southeastern Kilis and Şanlıurfa provinces.

Hotel attendant murdered by colleagues ‘because he worked too much’
A hotel attendant has died months after being hospitalized following severe injury he received at a hotel where he worked last year.
Police officers eventually determined that he was killed by his colleagues because "he was working too much."
İbrahim Halil Kiraz, who worked at a hotel in Istanbul, was found unconscious at his workplace in July 2019.

YPG/PKK terrorist on wanted list neutralized
A wanted YPG/PKK terrorist was neutralized in a counter-terrorism operation in eastern Turkey, the country's Interior Ministry's said on Feb. 8.
Turkish authorities use the term "neutralized" to imply that the terrorist in question either surrendered or was killed or captured.
Terrorist Ömer Oran, also known as Bager, was on the ministry's most wanted list.

Number of bald ibises continues to increase
The endangered generations of northern bald ibises are protected by serious measures as a result of the works carried out by the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks.
The works started in 1977 with two adults and nine young birds gave results and today the number of bald ibis is 244 in Birecik district of in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa.
