Four families on Sept. 3 staged a sit-in protest outside the provincial office of a Turkish opposition political party accused by the government of having links to the PKK terror group.         

Turkish security forces on Sept. 3 said a senior PKK terrorist was among those "neutralized" in airstrikes a day earlier in northern Iraq.     

Two suspected members of the terrorist group YPG/PKK were detained on Aug. 31 in Turkey's southeastern Mardin province, bordering Syria, according to a statement by the governorship.

Turkish security forces "neutralized" Thursday two PKK terrorists in southeastern Turkey, the nation's Defense Ministry said.         

Turkish intelligence and army have "neutralized" two PKK terrorists, who plotted an armed attack that killed a Turkish diplomat in northern Iraq's Erbil, Anadolu Agency reported on Aug. 8.

Turkey will launch a military operation in Syria's terrorist PKK/YPG-occupied eastern Euphrates region, and it has informed both the U.S. and Russia of this coming operation, said the Turkish president on Aug. 4.
